The AEA Institute is a national organization focused on active grieving and active grief support groups. We offer our unique Grief Tribes and Battle Tribes communities in both an adult and adolescent service offering. We believe in the power of community, the power of tribes, and the power of best practices.
The AEA Institute flagship service is our Grief Tribes product broken into an adult grief support groups and an adolescent grief support groups. The AEA Institute offers the traditional resources of grief, such as books, webinars, podcasts, resources, etc, but our most important value is that we bring people together and create an active community at exactly the times that a grieving person needs it – when the noise becomes quiet.
The Founder of The AEA Institute went through his own grief journey in 2018 when he lost his 39 year old wife to cancer in 41 days (from diagnosis to death). He and his five children have set up foundations and programs to help others in grief.
The AEA Institute offers four unique products: Grief Tribes and Battle Tribes.
Grief Tribes are focused for adults and adolescents that have lost a parent, child, sibling, loved one.
Battle Tribes are cancer community support programs offered for both adults and adolescents.
Building communities with active participation and continuous feedback from members. Our roadmaps and journeys are based on principles of action. These include understanding your own personality traits, tactics that may make the most sense for you, ideas and best practices. While the AEA Institute believes every grief journey may be different, we also believe that understanding best practices and the wide range of resources and tactics is the best way for individuals to power their journey.
The AEA Institute offers tools and resources that are both static and dynamic.
Members see a wide range of programming including books, podcasts, support groups, videos/webinars, chat groups, cohort specification for targeted areas of membership, guest speaker series, etc.
